LOVE IS IN THE AIR: 'Klapollo' confirmed as Klavier Gavin is photographed holding hands with Apollo Justice on the courthouse steps
February 12th 2027
What better way to celebrate Valentine's Day than by hard-launching a new relationship?Klavier Gavin, photographed yesterday emerging from the courtroom holding the hand of Apollo Justice, certainly seems to think so. The former lead singer of the Gavinners has been spending an awful lot of time around Justice, and it looks as though they've been dating for quite some time before making their relationship public on Thursday evening. We have reached out to Gavin for a statement, but have so far received no comment from the prosecutor. While we wish them the best of luck in their relationship, it does raise questions surrounding the ethics of coworker-relationships in the legal system. Chief Prosecutor Edgeworth has been spotted wearing a gold engagement ring, and has declined to comment on the status of his relationship, although many sources confirm that he lives with Phoenix Wright, the disbarred Turnabout Terror who is currently rumoured to be studying to retake the Bar.Something is in the air this February, and we want some! Apollo, move over, your man is in high demand!

Who is Apollo Justice anyway?
January 1st 2027
If you haven't heard of Apollo Justice, we wouldn't blame you. Unless you read the legal news, or are an avid fan of the Gavinners, you might not yet have come across the greenhorn defense attorney who is taking the world by storm.Justice's first trial found him defending none other than the disbarred Turnabout Terror, Phoenix Wright, in a trial where he was accused of murder. In a shocking turn of events, Justice not only proved his client innocent, but indicted his own boss, Kristoph Gavin, of the crime. What followed was the dissolution of the Gavin Law Offices and a high-profile start to Justice's career.Since then, he has defended multiple trials, often coming toe to toe with rockstar prodigy prosecutor Klavier Gavin. In fact, it was Justice who, acting as the defense attorney for a young artist known as Vera Misham, solved a seven-year long mystery surrounding the crimes of Kristoph Gavin and the disbarment of Phoenix Wright. In his first year as a lawyer, Justice has accomplished more than most rookies do in their first ten.But it seems as though his infamous escapades do not end in the courtroom. Justice has been spotted having lunch with rival prosecutor Gavin on numerous occasions, sparking rumours that he has entered into a romantic relationship with the brother of the man he exposed for forgery.
Inside the mind of Winston Payne: An Exclusive Interview
November 2nd 2026
We sit down for a chat with one of LA's lawyers.
So, Winston, you've been practicing law for... how many years, now?
Well over twenty years by this point, yes.
Right, well, as one of LA's longest standing lawyers, I have to ask: what made you sit down for an interview with us today?
I'm in high demand. I'm not called the Rookie Killer for nothing, you know.
Rookie Killer?
They say that any new defense attorney faces many hurdles at the start of their career. Getting into law school, passing the bar, things like that. But the real test of a lawyer's worth is when he faces off against me in his first trial.
So you win a lot of cases, then?
Y-Yes, of course I do!
But I have here the court records, stating that you haven't actually won a case in almost four years.
Well, formally... as a formality.... but I'm known for being one of the toughest prosecutors in LA!
Is that why Chief Prosecutor Edgeworth assigns you to cases where the defense attorneys have little experience?
I see that as a strength, not a weakness. If a defense attorney can beat me, then perhaps they're worth their salt. I'm doubtful, though. All these new lawyers don't do things the way we used to, back in the good old days.
By 'the good old days', do you mean the days in which prosecutors like Manfred von Karma could get away with forging evidence?
What is this, an interview or an interrogation?
It's just a question, Prosecutor Payne.
This interview is over. I have more important things to do.
